Are you doing prevention work in your community? This new FNWACCB certification attest to the knowledge skills and professional integrity you possess in that important field.
This certification is for professionals who are assisting a targeted, at-risk population within communities, showing early signs of a substance use issue or at risk of developing a problem. These approaches reduce risk factors, promote protective factors, limit disability, prevent future addiction issues, and promote community and cultural connections.
The focus of this certification is the reduction of chemical addictions, which is still the priority in the majority of communities, and is centered on individuals, families and special groups (pregnant women, women, the incarcerated, two-spirited, seniors etc…).
